Artificial Intelligence is one of the most powerful technologies of our time.  Panelists will introduce AI and the many terms associated with it, present ethical and societal implications of AI, and introduce risks and mitigation strategies in order to seize the opportunities that AI presents.

U.S. policies outline plans to invest in the long-term, develop effective methods for human-AI collaboration, ensure the safety and security of AI systems, develop shared public datasets and environments for AI training and testing, better understand the national AI workforce needs, expand public-private partnerships to accelerate advances in AI, and establish a principled and coordinated approach to international collaboration in AI research.

Current challenges include developing trustworthy AI systems, preparing the current and future U.S. workforce, and coordinating ongoing AI activities across all federal agencies and industries.  Come join our panel as they a variety of issues from coder bias to problematic data and how to shape the future of AI.
