During this 90-minute session, Mr. Kern will discuss the following topics:
- How to register a profile at Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE).
- How to create and submit a payment request.
- How to track your request and resolve payment issues.
In addition to learning WAWF basics, attendee will also learn what resources are available to assist small businesses along this process.
Speaker Bio: Mr. Kern is the Small Business Professional at Tobyhanna Army Depot (TYAD) located in Northeastern Pennsylvania and part of the Office of Small Business Programs, Aberdeen Proving Ground. In his current role, he assists businesses, both large and small, with doing business with TYAD and learning the federal procurement process.
He is also a Group Administrator for PIEE at the facility. He works with government users both in activating profiles and using the system. As an administrator, he has also become very familiar using Wide Area Workflow to assist small businesses navigate the payment process and these experiences helped form this presentation.
