Join us for the “HSI Standards for Optimizing the Human in DoW Acquisition” event. The US has begun to best position itself to lead in critical technologies with the passing of *15 USC 272 NOTE (i.e. Section 12(d) of Public Law 104-113) “Utilization of Consensus Technical Standards by Federal Agencies”. Academia and industry play a critical role in the development and maturation of bodies of knowledge for DoW disciplines that can affect the speed and quality of capability development.
As a result, the DoW has been able to advance human systems integration (HSI) and human-machine interface design challenges with the adoption of the non-government standards (NGS) SAE 6906A “Standard Practice for HSI” and most recently ANSI/HFES-400 “Human Readiness Levels” (
