Logisticians and Engineers Transforming Technical Design Reviews: Integrating Different Perspectives - Ms. Susan Askew, DAU and Ms. Kathy Carnell, DAU discuss delivering products to the Warfighter with supportability designed in doesn't just happen by accident - supportability must be affected early in the design process. This session is a thought-provoking facilitated discussion between Engineering and Logistics personnel focusing on lessons learned and current best practices.  Geared toward improving system design through meaningful communications among functional areas throughout the design process, we will explore functional area expectations for preparation and execution of major system Technical Design Reviews such as SRR, PDR, CDR, and PRR.  We will also introduce recent changes to the DoDI 5000 series publications and possible impacts to the Technical Review process.
