Click HERE to view DAU’s Flagship Event of the Summer Features Ways to Do Defense Differently In the spirit of innovation, DAU hosted the fifth annual flagship event of the summer on June 7 to explore the possibilities of doing “Defense Differently” and learn about ideas and perspectives from outside the traditional acquisition community. This annual, day-long event is designed to inspire the Defense acquisition community to listen to and engage in conversations about the field and their work. This event focused on ideas and best practices to accelerate innovation and culture change across the Federal Government, DoD, industry and academia. DAU welcomed speakers from within as well as outside the traditional acquisition arenas, each of whom brought to the forefront the increasing need to keep abreast of innovative concepts and solutions that would positively impact and inspire Defense innovation readiness.
