The Department of the Navy Information Superiority Vision includes three core efforts to Modernize, Innovate, and Defend. The capstone design concept is defined by the goal to "Securely move information from anywhere to anywhere" with key criteria to field supporting capabilities that are Customer-Focused, Best-value Cost, Dynamic, and Confidence-Inspiring. The top-level supporting objectives are Optimize the DON Information Environment for Cloud, Adopt Enterprise Services, and Implement Zero Trust. The outcomes have improved Customer Experience and Operational Resilience; resulting in Information Superiority that continues to evolve to win the global naval fight.​
