This webinar provides an overview of Configuration Management (CM) in the context of Navy supply. We’ll touch on the five functions of CM and how the various tasks conducted by the personnel within Navy supply align with each of the 40 principles as described by the DoD adopted SAE EIA-649 CM Consensus Standard. There are also many tools and processes used that we’ll touch on, and the various nuances that may arise between the aviation and maritime divisions of the Navy.
