Series Description: The Product Support Delta Course (v2024) focuses on what’s recently changed in Product Support. Change is happening at an ever-increasing pace, thanks in large part to our advancements in the Digital Domain. We will focus on topics that underpin the vision and future of product support. Come to one or come to all ten 90-minute lessons. Each lesson will include 15 minutes of silent work followed by a facilitator who will poll and help summarize the key points. Additionally, each session will include a speaker on applying the topic with an open Q&A period for attendees. Each live session will be worth 1.5 CLPs.

Guest Speaker:
A native of Prince Frederick, MD, Mr. Parran received his commission in the United States Navy as a Supply Corps Officer after graduating in 1992 from Hampton University through their Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps (NROTC) unit. Throughout his Navy career, Mr. Parran has been recognized for his astute knowledge in supply chain management and metrics, distribution, program management, business strategy, strategic planning and integration, inventory, operation planning, business reform and order fulfillment.
While on active duty serving in the U.S. Navy, Mr. Parran’s afloat assignments have included Wardroom, Disbursing, Quality Assurance and Assistant Stock Control Officer onboard USS GEORGE WASHINGTON (CVN 73); Supply Officer, USS MAHAN (DDG 72); Principal Assistant for Logistics and the Assistant Supply Officer, USS KITTY HAWK (CV 63). Ashore, his assignments have included instructor duty at the U.S. Navy’s Supply Corps School; Fleet Logistics Manager Commander Military Sealift Command; Logistics Support Officer at U.S. Navy’s Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Yokosuka Japan, Supply Chain Management Action Officer on the staff of the Chief of Naval Operations, Program Manager for the Strategic Network Optmization initiative, and Military Deputy Director, Logistics Programs & Strategic Policy at the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), Director of Logistics at Commander Fleet Readiness Centers, Naval District Washington Supply Officer/Director Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk and lastly as the Distribution Chief for vaccines and therapeutics for the United States in support of the Nation’s response to the Covid-19 epidemic at the COUNTERMEASURES ACCELERATION GROUP. Mr. Parran retired from the U.S. Navy after serving 30 years and achieving the rank of CAPTAIN.
Currently, Mr. Parran serves as the Director for International Logistics and Strategy in the office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense (DASD) for Product Support where he is the Department of Defense (DoD) lead for their Regional Sustainment Framework (RSF) initiative.
