This presentation will explore the DoD’s approach for adoption of Additive Manufacturing (AM) and implications for configuration management. Discussions will include examples of adapted CM policy and execution for AM by NAVAIR and NAVSEA CM offices, along with perspectives on successes and balancing the need for expeditious delivery of parts with CM principles.
