Setting the Stage: Agile and DevSecOps for Safety-Critical Cyber-Physical Systems

This event is the start of a new Agile series featuring Visiting Professor Robin Yeman.  This first event will provide an overview of Large-Scale, Safety-Critical, Cyber-Physical Systems (LS/SC/CP) and will introduce Agile and DevSecOps methodologies utilizing Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and Digital Twins. It will highlight the role of these methodologies in modern defense acquisition and development, emphasizing speed enhancement, safety, and adaptability in military systems. It will also discuss the key benefits and challenges of these approaches and will demonstrate how additional tools will enable rapid feedback for LS/SC/CP systems. A demonstration using the innoslate model will showcase the building of a satellite with NASA’s traditional approach compared to a proposed Agile approach.
