Speaker:Fred Schlich has over 35 years of experience in Federal contract and program management. He is a retired Air Force officer, worked a number of years in industry, and has been a Federal civilian employee for the last decade. He has been a commander, director, division chief, and is currently Professor of Contract Management at the Defense Acquisition University. In these capacities he has supported the military services, non-Defense Federal agencies, the intelligence community, the Defense Contract Management Agency and the Missile Defense Agency. Fred holds the Program Management Professional designation from the Program Management Institute, is a National Contract Management Association (NCMA) Certified Professional Contract Manager and carries the distinction of being an NCMA fellow. Fred has advanced degrees from Auburn University and BIOLA University. Fred also fishes.
