The Joint HSI Steering Committee leads cross-service improvements and implementation of HSI.  

In turn, the Joint HSI Working Group delivers multiple HSI resources to improve acquisition outcomes:  1) body of knowledge; 2) standardization of the practice; 3) workforce development and training; 4) tools, techniques, and methodologies.
