The Department has been focused on transforming our software development and operational practices since the release of the 2019 Software is Never Done: Refactoring the Acquisition Code for Competitive Advantage. Six years later, we will explore the intersection of the DoD State of DevSecOps Report and the DoD Software Modernization Implementation Plan for FY25-26. We’ll delve into key findings from the report and see how they align with software modernization activities in the Implementation Plan.
