The ultimate goal of any configuration is to execute the mission function that it is designed for. In this event we will explore the As-Operated configuration and the importance of properly managing those configurations from the perspective of the Fleet warfighter in support of mission execution. We will also provide insight into how program level configuration management practices affect the mission readiness of the operating forces in relation to the Product Operational Information (POI).
