DCMA Packaging and Transportation/Duty Free Entry Tool: During this two -hour webinar session, Ms. Laurie Cooper and Ms. Dora Turgeon will discuss the DCMA role(s) in Packaging and Transportation as part of contractor and customer contract administrative support. DCMA Transportation’s mission is the movement of requisitioned material from contractor’s facilities to ultimate destination via commercial and DoD logistics systems. We are authorized to perform transportation services via Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 42.302(a)(20) for Duty Free Entry (DFE) and (35) to issue and control bills of lading and other transportation documents. DCMA Transportation moves material within the Defense Transportation System (DTS) and works with the process owner United States Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM) to get material seamlessly and efficiently to the warfighter.
