DECEMBER 1, 2020 -- John McCanney, the Air Force SBIR/STTR Program Contracting Sprints Lead, provided a top-level discussion of the how the Air Force is using its SBIR/STTR Center of Excellence to drive home small business wins across the Service. McCanney offered an informational deep-dive into using "Contracting Sprints" for execution of awards, a novel approach pioneered by his organization. This approach differs in many ways from other innovative requirements approaches--such as Pitch Days--clarity on the similarities and differences will be addressed in the briefing.
