Robert M. Collins, Military Deputy to the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Acquisition,
Logistics, and Technology
LTG Collins
serves as the Principal Military Deputy to the Assistant Secretary of the Army
for Acquisition, Logistics and Technology (ASA(ALT)) and as the Director of the
Army Acquisition Corps (DAAC). In that role he advises the Secretary of the
Army, Chief of Staff, the Under Secretary, the ASA(ALT) and other senior
leaders on the impact of legislation, policies, procedures, and programs;
acquisition issues and policy formulation; represents the Army Acquisition
Executive (AAE) for the accessions, training, education, career development,
policy, and oversight of the AL&T Workforce; and manages the selection and
assignment of senior acquisition officials for the ASA(ALT).
