We all want to be good listeners and be understood when we speak. But, sometimes our opinions, beliefs, knowledge, and experiences get in the way of effective communication. During this webcast, we will discuss some communication strategies — what they are and how we can use them to improve relationships by becoming an effective communicator.

We will explore some barriers and enablers of effective communication:

Recognize how we interpret "the facts" we hear
Learn why we don't always hear what another person is actually saying
How changing our focus helps us get in touch with our feelings, enabling us to communicate better
