Zero Trust (ZT) is the foundation of a DoD security transformation to counter major cybersecurity threats.  While the DoD is starting a significant journey for Zero Trust (ZT), Industry has been doing ZT for years.  This month's speaker, Mr. Ernie Edmonds, has experience implementing ZT capabilities at various prominent banks and other industries.  Additionally, he was a significant factor in the design of core cybersecurity reference architectures at DHS.   Mr. Edmonds will share key insights on ZT principles, fundamental components, capabilities, and design patterns to address threats that exist both inside and outside networks.    ZT capabilities and activities need to address core security engineering and security architecture concepts to maximize their potential effectiveness.
