Capt. Watkins is planning to share his experience working the Joint Precision Approach & Landing System (JPALS) program through a Nunn-McCurdy breach and associated mandatory briefings on his way to his report to Congress. Capt. Watkins led this process so effectively that the Assistant-Secretary of the Navy for Research, Development, and Acquisition (ASN RDA) recently suggested that this good news story needed to be shared with as wide an audience as possible, and we are pleased that he will share his experience through DAU in our 'Hacking' Program Management webcast series. We look forward to him sharing his Nunn-McCurdy and more general program management "hacks" with us.
