The Defense Innovation Board (DIB) discusses the findings and preliminary recommendations of the Software Acquisition and Practices (SWAP) improvement study.
The DIB was tasked by Congress and the Secretary of Defense to conduct a study on how to improve SWAP in the Department of Defense. The Under Secretary of Defense (Acquisition & Sustainment) (USD(A&S), Ms. Ellen Lord, is directing the study and invited members of the DIB to discuss their efforts with the Defense Acquisition community.
Joining Dr. Jeff Boleng, the USD(A&S) Special Assistant for Software Acquisition in this roundtable, are four members of the DIB:
