Adaptive Acquisition Framework DoDI 5000.88 Engineering 1.5.21

In this continuation of DAU's webcast series on the Adaptive Acquisition Framework, we'll explore DoD Instruction 5000.88, Engineering of Defense Systems. DoD 5000.88 was recently approved by the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering (OUSD R&E) and establishes policy, assigns responsibilities, and provides procedures to implement engineering in support of the acquisition of Defense systems. The webcast will provide an overview of the key elements of the policy, to include new initiatives such as Mission Engineering, and discuss its implications to implementation of the AAF.
