Join us for the first FY21 episode of "Think Differently" webcast series for a discussion between DAU President, Mr. Jim Woolsey, and Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment, the Honorable Ellen Lord, on the Adaptive Acquisition Framework Software Pathway. This pathway is specifically designed to support modern software development, "better software faster", and is modeled after the agile manifesto; specifically valuing individuals and interactions over processes and tools, working software over comprehensive documentation, fostering customer collaboration over contract negotiation and responding to change over following a plan. The Software Pathway continues on the theme of the overhaul of the 5000.02 to the Adaptive Acquisition Framework to empower the Program Manager, and provide the Program Management Office the flexibility to leverage greater agility in designing and developing acquisition programs better, and faster.
