He discussed how the GAO Cost Estimating and Assessment Guide (GAO-09-3SP) was created in the style of an Amish barn raising. The findings and reports that have resulted are discussed. He also discusses the scheduling best practices guide (GAO-16-89G) and the Technology Readiness Guidance (in development).
